Full Cold Moon: When is December's Full Moon and what is its significance?

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the full moon that shows up in December is typically alluded to by the expression "full cold moon."

This year it will top at 12:49 p.m. ET (8:49 a.m. PT) on December 22. The moon will seem extremely round and full in the night sky close to the star grouping Orion for a few days between December 20 and 22, as indicated by EarthSky.

This year, the full cool moon falls not exactly multi day after the December solstice—a galactic marvel that denotes the most brief day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the start of winter (in cosmic terms). The last time these two occasions happened inside multi day of one another was 2010, and it won't occur again until 2029.

Hypertension or High Blood Pressure

Hypertension (HTN) or high blood pressure, sometimes referred to as arterial hypertension, is a chronic medical condition with increased blood pressure in the arteries. This increase causes the heart to work harder than usual to circulate blood through blood vessels. Blood pressure involves two measurements, systolic and diastolic, depending on whether the heart muscle contracts (systole) or relaxes between pulses (diastole). Normal blood pressure at rest is in the systolic range (upper reading) 100–140 mmHg and diastolic (lower reading) 60–90 mmHg. High blood pressure occurs when constantly at 140/90 mmHg or more.

Hypertension is divided into primary (essential) hypertension or secondary hypertension. About 90-95% of cases are classified as "primary hypertension", which means high blood pressure without a clear medical cause.  Other conditions that affect the kidneys, arteries, heart, or endocrine system cause 5-10% of other cases (secondary hypertension).

Radhanath Sikdar, a surveyor and mathematician from Bengal, was the first to declare Everest Peak as the highest peak through trigonometric calculations in 1852. This calculation was carried out using theodolite from a distance of 150 miles away in India. Some Indians believe that the peak should be named according to Sikdar, not Everest.

Do We Antibiotic For Cough An Flu?

Awareness of the wisdom of using antibiotics must begin with yourself and family. A simple step that can be done is to stop taking antibiotics when infected with the flu or cough and always take antibiotics if prescribed by a doctor.

Since the discovery of the first antibiotic, antibiotics have saved many people who use them. However, excessive use and antibiotic abuse in humans and animals has led to conditions in which microbes such as bacteria become resistant or resistant to antibiotics consumed to kill bacteria. One example of antibiotic abuse is taking antibiotics to treat colds and coughs caused by viruses. Antibiotics only function to kill bacteria and cannot be used to kill viruses.

Galileo Galilei

Galileo Galilei (Italian pronunciation: [ɡaliˈlɛːo ɡaliˈlɛi]; born in Pisa, Tuscany, February 15, 1564 - died in Arcetri, Tuscany, January 8, 1642 at the age of 77 years) was an Italian astronomer, philosopher and physicist who had a major role in scientific revolution. He is referred to as "the father of observational astronomy", [2] "father of modern physics",  "father of the scientific method", and "father of science".

His contributions to science include the improvement of the telescope, various astronomical observations, and the laws of first and second motion (dynamics). In addition, Galileo was also known as a Copernican supporter of the circulation of the earth around the sun and the sun as a solar system.

As a result of his views, he was considered deviating from the beliefs that had been held by the community and the church at that time, and submitted to the Italian church court on June 22, 1633. His thinking about the sun as the center of the solar system contradicted Aristotle's teachings and the church's belief that the earth was the center universe. He was punished with exile (house arrest) until his death. [8] [9] It was not until 1992 that Pope John Paul II declared officially that the verdict was wrong, and in a December 21 2008 speech Pope Benedict XVI stated that the Roman Catholic Church rehabilitated his name as a scientist.

Johannes Kepler

Johannes Kepler (27 December 1571 - 15 November 1630), an important figure in the scientific revolution, was a German astronomer, mathematician and astrologer. He is best known through the laws of planetary motion. He was sometimes referred to as "the first theoretical astrophysicist", although Carl Sagan also called him the last scientific astrologer. At the age of 29, Johannes Kepler became an imperial mathematician for the Holy Roman Emperor, along with the royal astrologer General Wallenstein, a position he held to the end of his life. Kepler is also a professor of mathematics at the University of Graz. Kepler's career also coincided with the career of Galileo Galilei. Early in his career, Kepler was Tycho Brahe's assistant.

Kepler is highly valued not only in mathematics. He became very well known in the fields of optics and astronomy. Kepler, though small in stature, has astonishing intelligence and a persistent personality. He was discriminated against when he refused to convert to Roman Catholicism, even though he was under intense pressure.

Xiaomi boss shows off 48 MP camera phone

The co-founder and president of Xiaomi, Lin Bin, recently shared a piece of the picture that was allegedly a brand-new cellphone from the Chinese vendor. He uploaded the image via his Weibo account.

"Tried for several weeks, not bad! Released in January," he wrote.

Interestingly, the photo shows the words "48MP Camera" on the back of the phone that shows how sophisticated the quality of the lens that the smartphone uses. This certainly makes it look stylish before it is even launched.
It does not appear whether this mysterious cellphone will have two or three lenses on the back. Only the vertical placement can be seen.

In addition, there is an LED flash that uses two colors at once, which can be white and yellow or orange to give a warmer effect to the image. The back panel itself is made of glass.

Currently, there are two large companies that already have sensors to accommodate the camera's capabilities. First there was Sony with IMX586 which was announced last July. While Samsung has ISOCELL Bright GM1 which was introduced in October 2018.
In addition to the ability of a capable camera, it is also possible if the smartphone will be planted with Snapdragon 855 which was just introduced by Qualcomm. Up to 10 GB of RAM that has been adapted by a number of vendors will also be another attraction if it is applied.

Will this be a manifestation of the Mi 9? Or Xiaomi has already prepared a mobile phone that is truly new and brings big changes? It is interesting to wait in January, as Bin wrote in the upload.

Newest Mobile Camera Huawei Can Make 3D Photos

Huawei reportedly plans to launch a new cellphone that can take pictures with a three-dimensional format, aka 3D. The device has a Princeton code name.

In making this phone, Huawei is working with Sony as a sensor maker that allows to take pictures in 3D. This feature itself is referred to as 3D Camera by Huawei.
"This is a technology that has never been seen before, and has the potential to change the way we look at the world," said Yusuke Toyoda, analyst at Fuji Chimera Research, as quoted from Bloomberg on Wednesday (05/12/2018).

Besides being able to produce images that can be seen from various directions, Huawei's new camera can also make 3D models of people or objects that can be used on augmented reality based applications. The camera can also allow developers to add a number of movements from the user in operating the application.

Reportedly, Huawei will embed this camera on more than one cellphone. Even so, this can still change. Based on information from a source, this smartphone will be announced in December, while sales will begin several weeks later.
It is interesting to wait, whether Huawei really presents a cellphone, or even some cellphones that have capabilities like this. Of course this will add to the hot competition of vendors in presenting innovations in their smartphones, as has been seen on folding screen phones and open-screen phones.
